HOTEL RAKOVEC – ACCOMODATION IN BRNO

THE Hotel Rakovec offers comfortable accomodation in the most popular recreational area of the City of Brno, in the locality of the Brno Dam (lake) which developed 70 years ago through sinking of the Brno suburb called Kníničky. The hotel restaurant is not meant for only the hotel guests but it is also open to the public. Besides offering accomodation in Brno, Hotel Rakovec also offers the possibility of organising celebrations (parties), rauts, company seminars (training) and weddings.

Hotel Rakovec-which provides accomodation in Brno- is undergoing total renovation. As at now some of the hotel rooms, the lobby bar, the summer terrace and the kitchen have been renovated. We are yet to renovate the rest of the rooms and suites, the conference room, the accomplishment of the outdoor salt-water swimming pool, the reconstruction of the bowling zone which is designed to have two tracks and a wellness/fitness centre.
 

Accomodation in Brno – at the Brno lakeside

There is a beautiful view of the water reservoir and of the countryside from the hotel. The surroundings of the hotel offer a large range of recreational and hiking possibilities. You can visit the castle Veveří, the Brno Zoo, Helenś Well or just relax by taking a walk in the neighbourhood, either from the beach or by means of a steam boat. The surroundings of the Dam (lake) may interest sportsmen as well. There are so many paths for cycling or in-line roller-skating. There are also possibilities of playing golf and volleyball in good weather conditions. So many entertaining/fun activities take place at the Brno lakeside in spring and summertime e.g. firework shows namely Ignis Brunensis.
